Each unit shall be occupied by only one family as a residence and for no other purpose. An owner shall provide written notification to the association in advance of the names of overnight guests who will be in the unit when the owner is not present. Guests may stay a maximum of two weeks at one time, and not more than two times per calendar year. Dogs and cats are permitted to be kept in a unit, with the total number limited to two. Pets are not permitted in leased units. No trucks, commercial vehicles, boats, trailers, campers, mobile homes, motorcycles, and the like, and any vehicles not in operable condition may be permitted on condominium property without prior board approval. No person may display for sale or for rent signs; open house signs are permitted within the guidelines of the Pelican Bay documents. No tile, parquet, wood, or other hard surface floor material may be installed in second-floor units except in kitchens, bathrooms, foyers, and lanais. The installation of floor coverings of any kind in second-floor units shall be subject to the prior approval of the Board of Directors. Alterations, modifications, installations, and additions to the unit and common elements must be approved by the Board of Directors prior to installation.
